Here is a video of Kimmy's Colonial Days performance at school. She was an apothecary (closest thing she could get to a colonial chemist). Sorry about all the background noise. A room full of 5th graders gets a little noisy.

2010 Spring Piano Recital

DARE Graduation

OakRidge Elementary had the 4th grade DARE graduation today. One student from each of the four classes was selected by vote of their peers to read their DARE essay during the graduation ceremony. Kimmy's classmates selected her essay as the best in the class. Here is a video of Kimmy reading her essay at graduation.

Lip Sync 2010

Snow, Snow, and More Snow

Well, we finally dug out from our 14 inches of snow over the weekend without any school delays. However, we are now set to get another 12 - 18 inches Tuesday night. I'm running out of places to put the snow. At least we got in some good sledding on Sunday before the Superbowl.
